The Cloud Ship

A new world every night
Original adventures for children aged 2 to 8, with every book checked by at least two people before it can reach a child's shelf.
The DreamBug library
Children choose from clear, inviting covers. The complicated decisions stay with the parent, while favourites quietly wait at the front of the shelf.

100+ stories are being prepared for review. Only the books selected for launch will appear in the child's library.
Their shelf, your rules
Create a shelf for each child, choose their age range, hide individual books and enable optional collections. Purchases and settings stay behind a parent gate.

Stories where more children belong
These are still stories first: exciting, funny, tender and full of agency. A parent decides when either collection appears on a child's shelf.
Wheelchairs, walkers and other aids belong naturally in the world. The character's body is part of them, never the problem the story needs to fix.

Moving home, grief, a new baby, being left out or a frightening change can be easier to approach through a story that understands without lecturing.

Extra care for sensitive stories. These books receive additional checks for framing, language, stereotypes and whether the child remains capable and respected.
A shelf that keeps growing
Enough novelty for children to keep exploring, without flooding the library with unfinished work. Every new book still has to meet the same release standard.
The Dragon Cart
Door in the Snow
The Waiting WhaleComing after launch
Choose a hero, a world and the idea sitting underneath the adventure. DreamBug will use the same quality pipeline to create a complete, reviewable book.
Personalisation follows the illustrated character chosen. This preview does not save or send the name.
Notes from our first families
These are early family-testing notes, not App Store ratings. Verified store reviews will replace this section after launch.
“The first app my daughter asks for by name at bedtime. And the first one I don't feel weird about saying yes to.”
“My son has a stutter. He saw the parrot whose words take their time and said: he's like me. I nearly cried.”
“The stories are actually good. Not app-good. Book-good.”
A whole bookshelf, one membership
Instead of choosing a single new story, open an entire parent-controlled library, with new adventures arriving throughout the year.
DreamBug Annual opens the full 100+ story library for a year, including every new release added during your membership.
Prices are shown in your local currency and confirmed by the App Store before you pay. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your Apple account.
No. Every book is stored inside the app when you install it, so the whole library works with the device in airplane mode.
No. There is no advertising, no browser, and no link that leads out of the app. The purchase screen and all settings sit behind a parent PIN.
Nothing. Profiles, reading progress and favourites are stored on the device and never sent anywhere. There are no accounts for children. See the privacy policy.
They are made in-house. We use AI tools as part of writing and illustrating, then at least two people review every line and every picture before a book reaches the app. Books that do not meet the bar are revised or kept out of the library.
Yes. Each child gets a profile, and in the parents area you choose which age ranges, collections and individual titles appear on their shelf.
