    Every line is read before a single picture is made. Words that are too hard, too scary or simply not needed are cut.

Only to download a new book. The four free books come with the app. Any other book downloads once, when you choose it, and after that it reads with the wifi switched off.

No. There is no advertising, no browser and no link that leads out of the app. The subscription screen and all the settings sit behind a parent gate, and the only two links out, our privacy policy and Apple's terms, live on that screen.

Nothing. There are no accounts and no sign up. Profiles, favourites and reading progress are saved on the device and never sent anywhere. Deleting the app removes all of it, and there is no copy anywhere else.

They are made in house and original to DreamBug. We use AI tools as part of writing and illustrating, then at least two people review every line and every picture before a book reaches the app.

Yes. Each child gets their own profile and their own shelf. In the grown-ups area you choose which ages, which collections and which single titles appear, and their favourites sit at the front.

Yes. In the grown-ups area you record a story one page at a time. Your child can then press Listen on that book and hear you read it. Recordings stay on the phone and are never sent anywhere.
