Inside a story

Words that wait for your reader

Turn on read-along and each word lights up as it is spoken, so a child who is still learning can follow the line with their eyes instead of losing it.

A page from The Cloud Ship: an island made of cloud with a ship's deck on top, seen from a hot air balloon.

Ahead of them floated an island made all of cloud. Its top was a wooden ship's deck, with masts and rigging. Somewhere on it, a winch squeaked, and their balloon was reeled in.

Made for children, and for the people reading to them

Read-along words

Each word highlights as it is read aloud, at a pace built for the age the book was written for.

Completely offline

Every book lives inside the app. It works on a plane, in a car, in a cottage with no signal.

No ads. No tracking.

No advertising, no third-party trackers, no links leading your child out of the app. Nothing about them leaves the device.

Parents hold the keys

Buying and settings sit behind a PIN. Children see stories, never a purchase screen.

A shelf per child

Give each child their own profile, and choose which ages and collections appear on their shelf.

New stories regularly

The library keeps growing, and every new book arrives with the app update. Nothing extra to buy.

Written for the age

A book grows with your child

A story for a three year old and a story for a seven year old are not the same story made longer. Sentence length, vocabulary, page count and how much happens all move together.

2-47 to 9 pages

One idea, a line or two a page, and a refrain they can join in with.

4-510 to 15 pages

A small problem, a clear middle, and a warm ending.

5-616 to 22 pages

Real setbacks, dialogue, and a turn the child can feel coming.

6-722 to 28 pages

Longer adventures, some told in chapters, with characters who want opposite things.

Questions parents ask

Does my child need the internet?

No. Every book is stored inside the app when you install it, so the whole library works with the device in airplane mode.

Can my child tap through to anything else?

No. There is no advertising, no browser, and no link that leads out of the app. The purchase screen and all settings sit behind a parent PIN.

What do you collect about my child?

Nothing. Profiles, reading progress and favourites are stored on the device and never sent anywhere. There are no accounts for children. See the privacy policy.

Who writes and draws the books?

They are made in-house. We use AI tools as part of writing and illustrating, and then a person reads every line and checks every picture before a book reaches the app. Books that do not meet the bar are redrawn or thrown away.

Can I decide what my child sees?

Yes. Each child gets a profile, and in the parents area you choose which age ranges, collections and individual titles appear on their shelf.
